The main window of the program

In a top of the program window there is a main menu. All operations are accessible through a main menu.

Below of the toolbar there is a line, in which full path of the registry key selected is represented. Pressing on the near blue arrow will open a pull-down menu with all available root keys of the registry: HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT, HKEY_CURRENT_USER, HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE, HKEY_USERS, HKEY_CURRENT_CONFIG and HKEY_DYN_DATA. You may select any of keys if you want to make the changes to another registry root hive with the same registry path. For example, if you make changes in the registry key HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer parameter LinkResolveIgnoreLinkInfo and want it to be applied to all users on this computer, you may select the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE from pull-down menu and set same value with the same registry path.

More to the right of a data tree some controls are arranged (from the top downward):

Parameter - the name of registry parameter (if parameter is (Default) this field should be empty);

Near the Parameter field is a blue arrow. If you push on this arrow you'll see a drop-down list of all available registry parameters in the selected registry hive.

The yellow coloured field, in which an information about existence of selected key and parameter is displayed.

System - the system where selected key can be applied;

·

Type - the data type of registry parameter (can be of three values - String, Binary (DWORD in the terms of RegEdit) and Integer);

·

Value - the value of registry parameter (should correspond to its type). It is possible to drag'n'drop here any file or folder from Windows explorer to insert path or file name;

·

Hex checkbox - if parameter type is binary (regedit's DWORD) this checkbox is available and can be checked if value of parameter is need to be viewed as hexadecimal. For decimal view of parameter this box shall be unchecked.

The commenting field, in which one the information on assigning parameter of the registry and guideline on its change is displayed.

In status line the full path of a selected option in a data tree is injected, for example "Applications\Internet Explorer\Window Title".
